GreatWell Metals prime quality objective is to plan quality into the part from design onwards, aiming to maintain the highest standard of quality throughout the lifetime of the product. In 2009, GreatWell Metals was certified under the authentication of ISO9001:2008 management system.
GreatWell Metals maintains consistency and process control to ensure our finished products meet our customers' specification through the traceble management from raw material to final products.
In order to optimise metal working process and improve casting quality, GWM supports our customers from the initial design by appling casting simulation software. When customer's need is identified, our in-house engineers are able to review the drawings and components based on the product application and budget for the purpose of providing specific recommendation.
The application of CAE casting software will also do help to forecast the casting defects based on your current designs. To maximize clients’ value, it is possible to convert multi-piece components to a single investment casting that you save on time and cost. High precision finished pieces will need no welding or assembly that will required using other method.
Determinng the quality of incoming raw material is a critical step to ensure the products quality and stability. GWM will inspect raw materials and components before production begins in order to minimized the chance of defects. Inspection record shall be maintained and traceable at the current year. Material inspecton includes:
Quality control of the manufacturing process is equally important to maintain operational performace. GWM implements flow process card to monitor each single procedure. Each department has a related tracking table to trace production progress.
To eliminate errors, our internal inspectors play an important role in performing random production line check. They are suffuciently trained to look for all the common trouble points in the production. Therefore, we are able to take corrective actions when issues raised.
100% of the finished products will be visually inspected and tested after production has been completed and before final products are packed for shippment. This ensures that the final products is consistent and compliant with your specification and accurate dimension. For products ready for shippment, GWM provide correct EN10204 3.1, Material Chemical Contain, Material Properties Test Report, NDT, CMM, PPAP, SPC/CPK reports.
The final quality check performed before shipping is significant to ensure accuracy. It reduces the costs associated with shipping errors and expenses when processing any return due to defective or inaccurately delivered products.
